First of all, I would just like to apologise for the image being at the bottom of the post rather than the top. I know it does not fit with the theme, but I'm having a bit of a problem with my phone at the moment.
I found these amazing red, faux suede heels in a charity shop called Barnardo's. Now I know what you're thinking: "Wearing shoes that someone else has worn? No thank you!" But these heels look as if they have only been tried on and worn around the shop.
As soon as I got them home, I cleaned them and made sure that they were good enough to be worn. So I don't have to worry about wearing them after someone else has.
I originally got these shoes for a photoshoot that I was doing with O-Ten Photography as I didn't know exactly what I was going to wear. The shoot was very editorial and so much fun!
These heels are originally from New Look and they would have cost around £25/£30. However, I got these gorgeous shoes for £6!
The heels are six inches high and as I'm only 5ft 5, these heels make me 5ft 11. As the heel is quite high, you would think that they would be quite difficult to walk in. I personally can walk in them quite well, but not only are they quite easy to walk in, they are amazingly comfortable! I didn't get any blisters or anything like that when I wore these heels which is a bonus! The colour of these heels are in between red and pink, but I think that they are more red with a pink undertone. These shoes have a patent heel, they are a platform shoe and the platform is also patent. I think that the contrast of the materials used for these heels works really well and if the whole shoe was patent, it wouldn't have the same effect. There is a decorative bow on the front of the shoes and they are made from the same faux suede as the rest of the shoe, and they are outlined with red binding. Finally, the shoes have a T Bar support strap and the fastening buckle is gold hardware.
I think that these red, faux suede heels were an amazing find especially in a charity shop.
I'm hoping to maybe use them in a night out/evening look book, as it is my 18th birthday in a few weeks and I know that I will get a lot of use out of them.
