B. Flawless Foundation review

Brand: B.
Product: B. Flawless Foundation
Colour: 010 Linen
Price: £5 (original price around £10)
Rate: 10/10

When I was at school, I didn't wear foundation, I wore a LOT of eyeliner! (I didn't realise how much I actually wore until I looked at some old school photos).
Anyway, I have only been wearing foundation for about a year, so I have been on the lookout for the right foundation for me. In the past year, I have tried a few foundations, such as; Collection and Rimmel. I thought that I would start with a Collection foundation, as they're very inexpensive so it didn't really matter if I didn't like it. The foundation that I used throughout autumn 2013 to summer 2014, was Rimmel London's Stay Matte liquid mousse foundation, in 010 Light Porcelain. I liked it at first, but then it started to become very "cakey" and it wasn't very good for my skin.

I was shopping in Superdrug, when I came across a brand that I hadn't seen before. I'm not sure how long it has been sold in Superdrug, as I had never seen it before. As I was talking to one of the sales assistants, she mentioned that B. (the brand) was a part of Superdrugs own brand. She recommended the B. Flawless, 16 hour wear, complete coverage foundation as it wasn't a mousse and it wouldn't be as harsh on my face. She also recommended that I get the foundation in the colour: 010 Linen.
This foundation was very inexpensive as it was on sale, so I got it for around £5 and after the sale it will go back up to the original price, which I think is around £10.

I have been using the B. Flawless foundation for about a month now, and I am really enjoying it! I definitley recommend this one over the Rimmel London Stay Matte Mousse.
This foundation gives you a bit of coverage, but not too much (you can still see my freckles when I wear this foundation), and it is long-lasting, which I exactly what I wanted in a foundation. I didn't want it to be too heavy or thick, and this foundation definitley is the perfect one for me.

The B. flawless foundation will last a long time, as you only need one squirt of it to cover your whole face. It is long-lasting, which means you do not need to reapply it at all during the day. Once you put your finishing powder over the top of it, it stays in place, it doesn't come off and you get incredible results. As the name states, it makes your skin flawless!

I am extremely excited about this brand, as they sell different products, such as; mascara, face primer, eyeliner and cleansing water. It is really inexpensive too, which means it's good for if you're on a budget, but you want products that do what they say and actually work.

I will definitely be repurchasing this foundation again and probably a lot more of their products. I would highly recommend both this foundation and this brand to everyone!

Estēe Lauder Pure Color lipstick review

Brand: Estēe Lauder
Product: Pure Color Lipstick
Colour: Plum Couture
Price: £21
Rate: 10/10

I went to Boots today, and I somehow "stumbled" across the Estēe Lauder make up counter. Now I wouldn't normally buy anything from the more high end counters, I usually stick to the Collection and Rimmel London make up counters. Today I picked up my results from my college and found out that I had passed my Fashion Design course with a D*D*D*. (For those who don't know, a D* is the highest possible grade you can get on my course)! So, I was in the mood to treat myself for all of my hard work and effort over the last two years.

Now I am definitely a lipstick kind of girl. I don't think I can count how many I actually have! (If I could only have one make up product for the rest of my life, it would be lipstick). So it was inevitable that I was going to buy myself a new lipstick.
This is the Estēe Lauder Pure Color, Long Lasting Lipstick, in the colour Plum Couture, and it was £21. Now, I think that £21 is very expensive for a lipstick, but with this one you are definitely getting your money's worth!

Can we all just take a moment of appreciation for the packaging please? The gorgeous lipstick is packaged in a very sleek, gold lid. The bottom of the packaging is clear and you can see the colour of the lipstick through it. The lid is separated from the lipstick tube by a gold band, which has the Estēe Lauder logo on it.
The actual lipstick itself is basically as the name describes. Plum Couture is the perfect name for this lipstick, as it is a gorgeous deep plum colour, with a sort of mauve, reddish undertone. (Perfect for Autumn/Winter). It isn't a matte lipstick unfortunately, but it is super moisturising and you do not need to build it up to see the colour, like you do with other lipsticks.

I personally love this lipstick, and I think I may possibly go back for other colours in the future. I would definitely recommend this lipstick to anyone and if you haven't tried it, you should! This is undoubtably my most favourite lipstick and I've only had it a day!
